“What an absolute joy to read. I'm convinced the upcoming decade, my sixties, will be my final and best. It is so lovely to hear from brave, bold, wild women who have led glorious lives and who have the courage to write. Thank you for this. You don't know how much I needed it.”

“What makes this book stand out is its celebration of courage at any age. It’s not just a memoir—it’s a rallying cry for self-expression, community, and purpose. Whether you're approaching sixty or far from it, the insights within are timeless and universal. The writing is clear and compelling, and the message is unshakably hopeful: your voice matters, your story counts, and it’s never too late to take action and speak up for what you believe in.”
“As someone approaching 60, this book truly resonated with me. Reading the stories of these women felt like sitting down with a group of wise friends who were willing to honestly share their journeys, their joys, disappointments, lessons, and the hope they've found along the way.
What I appreciated most was the authenticity. The essays don't pretend life is perfect. Instead, they acknowledge the challenges that come with this season while also celebrating the wisdom, resilience, and freedom that can only come through lived experience. I found myself relating to many of the transitions the women described and was encouraged by the reminder that this chapter of life is not an ending; it's another beginning.
This book also reminded me that every season has purpose. We don't stop growing, dreaming, or making a difference simply because we reach a certain age. If anything, the experiences we've lived through prepare us for what comes next.”
“I enjoyed reading these essays very much. This book is focused on women in their 60s and includes 25 essays written by women in their 60s. As I approach my 6th decade, I feel a sisterhood with these writers. The idea of self and the ability to focus on oneself is a common thread in these essays. The essays aren't particularly long, some are 2-3 pages, some are as many as 10, but they are all interesting and well written. A list of the essayists and where else to find them is included in the back of the book. Overall, I found these essays to be well written, and I felt a genuine comradery with the authors. I look forward to reading more from the various authors.”
“A great collection of essays written by women in their 60s sharing their concept of time, aging, and the challenges, along with the emotional and mental freedoms that are inevitable in your 60s. This is a great book for anyone nearing or in their 60s to share in the lives and stories of others who have embraced 60 as a wonderful locale in one's life!”
“I love this book. I cannot stress enough how powerful and vital it is to me, as a woman, to hear the voices of women my senior and to get a glimpse of the way they see the world. I am 57 and have already experienced the reality that we have to fight to be seen and heard. Some treat women of a certain age as though we are invisible.”
“I closed this book feeling encouraged, grateful, and hopeful. It reminded me that our voices still matter, our stories still have value, and there is beauty in embracing the woman we've become while looking forward to what God still has ahead.
I highly recommend this book to any woman approaching or living in her sixties. You'll likely see pieces of your own story reflected in these pages, and you'll come away knowing you're not walking this journey alone.”
“I read a lot of the book thinking there were none of these women that I could relate to. That is, until I reached the later chapters, particularly Jennifer, Lori, and Linda. These women gave me more perspective about overcoming or simply accepting what your sixties may bring and how to make the best of these years.”
